Diversey Clax Activ conc chlorine based bleach 10kg
Clax Activ Conc is a powder laundry bleach designed for use in professional laundries and laundries in hospitals and health centres and can be used on all types of white fabrics.
Clax Activ conc is a highly effective bleach for moderate temperatures, based on chlorinated isocyanurates, alkaline salts and bleach stabilizers. The dissolution of the isocyanurates leads to the formation of hypochlorite, while the presence of alkaline salts reduces the potential odour. Clax Activ conc can be used on all types of white fabrics, but not for cleaning coloured fabrics, except for chlorine-resistant surgical dyeing.
In order to achieve satisfactory bleaching and at the same time cause minimal damage to the fabrics, the temperature of the washing solution should ideally be between 40 and 60 °C and the pH should be above 10. Clax Activ conc must be thoroughly dissolved, as if insoluble isocyanurate particles are adsorbed by the fabric they may cause small holes to appear.
It should be noted that this type of bleach should not be used on fabrics with chlorhexadiene stains. In addition, contact of chlorine with products containing enzymes in the washing solution should be avoided, as the enzymes will be deactivated by chlorine.
Instructions for use:
Dosage and use:
To achieve excellent results, follow the recommended dosage instructions for Clax Activ Conc:
For washes carried out at 22-28°C: Use 9gr/kg of dry clothing.
For washes carried out at 50-60°C: Use 3.5-6g/kg of dry clothing.
Dosage adjustments may be necessary depending on the specific characteristics of your wash, such as the hardness of the water and the nature of the stains.
Important observations:
Maintain a pH level above 10 in the wash solution to release the full potential of the bleach.
Use caution when dealing with pH levels below 9.5, as a higher concentration of hypochlorous acid can potentially damage fabrics. Accurate pH control is essential. Optimum bleaching results are achieved at pH 10.5, requiring temperatures between 50-55°C.
Ensure thorough neutralisation of residual chlorine during rinsing to avoid yellowing and fabric damage during subsequent drying at high temperatures.
Avoid using Clax Activ Conc on nylon (polyamide) fabrics, including HTN carpets, as it may not be suitable for such materials.
