Diversey Clax Personril laundry disinfectant 20L
Clax Personril is a laundry disinfectant specifically designed for use in commercial and industrial laundries, suitable for use on all types of laundry except wool and nylon (polyamide) fabrics.
Clax Personril is a stable and effective disinfectant for moderate temperatures, based on a mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and stabilizers. It is a particularly thin liquid, which facilitates its pumping, thus ensuring optimal transfer to the washing solution. This product can be used on all types of fabrics (except wool and nylon), including coloured fabrics, and should be added to the main wash at a temperature between 40 and 70 °C. For best disinfection the temperature of the wash solution should ideally be between 60 and 70°C.
It should be noted that blood stains will solidify when in contact with the peroxide and as a result will be difficult to remove, therefore it is strongly recommended that any contact with Clax Personril during the initial phase of the wash is avoided. For fabrics with blood stains, the use of enzymatic products during the pre-washing stage is recommended.
Instructions for use:
To achieve optimal disinfection results and maximize the effectiveness of Clax Personril, it is important to understand the proper dosage and usage instructions. By following these instructions, you can ensure a safe and effective disinfection process for your fabrics.
Dosage:
The dosage of Clax Personril depends on the specific characteristics of your washing machine. For best results, we recommend a dosage of 2 ml/L of wash solution. Depending on the solution to garment ratio, which usually ranges from 1:4 to 1:6, this translates to 8-12 ml/kg of dry dressing. Adjust the dosage according to the nature of the wash and the type of fabric.
Usage:
To harness the power of Clax Personril and achieve excellent disinfection results, please note the following instructions for use:
pH control: it is important to maintain the pH of the washing solution between 9 and 10. At a pH greater than 10, the disinfecting ability of the peroxide is reduced. Conversely, at a pH lower than 9, the acids evaporate, creating potentially dangerous situations. Ensure proper pH control for optimal disinfection.
Temperature Considerations: At temperatures above 70°C, peracetic acid begins to decompose, resulting in reduced disinfection effectiveness. Similarly, at temperatures below 60°C, the effectiveness of disinfection is reduced, requiring longer wash times to achieve comparable results to those at 60-70°C.
Restrictions for fabrics: Avoid using Clax Personril on wool or nylon (polyamide) fabrics, including HTN carpets. Use caution and select suitable alternatives for these materials to ensure the best results.
By following these dosage and use instructions, you can effectively harness the disinfecting power of Clax Personril and achieve excellent results while maintaining the safety and integrity of your fabrics.
